so for any of you out there who have a guide dog?
does your dog suffer ear problems? infections? ear mites?
nitro has an ear infection right now. he’s miserable. I took him to the vet last week, they put drops in his ears, she told me to bring him back this week and she would repeat the process.
I hate seeing him so miserable.
anyone got any strategies that work for keeping the ears clean?

Irish and blind 
Cindy, my guide dog who is sadly no longer with us, had a couple of ear infections. She would let me do the ear drops, but the trick was to keep her still for a while afterwards, otherwise she’d do a massive shake of her head and try to shake out the drops.

Yes, nitro does that to. He is always shaking them out. It’s hard to keep him still. XX

Makiko had one problem but it lasted a day and then was gone so I’m not sure what that was. I’ve had many friends who have had dogs with chronic ear infections. Could it be possibly an allergy?
